Polyurethane (PU) Powder Coating
Polyester-type powder is a thermosetting powder coating made by using saturated polyester resin as the main film-forming substrate, combined with curing agents, pigments, fillers and various functional additives, through melt extrusion, cooling and crushing and ultra-fine grinding. It is one of the most widely used conventional powders in the field of powder coating, which focuses on both decoration and basic protection and is suitable for various indoor and outdoor workpiece coating needs.
Physical Properties: Uniform particle size (20-80μm), excellent electrostatic charging properties, high powder application rate, good melt flowability, smooth and even coating after curing, rich and customizable colors; moderate hardness, impact and bending resistance, weather resistance superior to epoxy powder, can withstand light outdoor exposure, not prone to chalking or gloss loss, and also possesses good chemical resistance and basic corrosion protection, suitable for conventional electrostatic spraying processes.
Common Applications: Widely used in building door and window profiles, appliance housings (refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioner outdoor units), furniture hardware, decorative accessories, ordinary steel structures, hardware stampings, aluminum alloy components, etc. It meets the decorative and basic protection needs of indoor workpieces, and can also be used for light outdoor workpieces, offering excellent cost performance and suitable for batch conventional spraying scenarios.
