Acrylic Powder Coating
Acrylic powder coatings are thermosetting powder coatings made with acrylic resin as the main film-forming substrate, combined with curing agents, pigments, fillers, and functional additives. They are a high-end powder coating category that combines excellent weather resistance, high decorative properties, and high color retention. Their performance falls between polyester powder and fluorocarbon powder, and some high-end acrylic systems can even rival the weather resistance of fluorocarbon powder, making them a preferred choice for mid-to-high-end outdoor decorative applications. They are particularly suitable for mid-to-high-end projects with high requirements for color stability and long-term weather resistance, offering a comparable appearance to fluorocarbon powder while providing a more cost-effective alternative.
